DoughJ's Chicken & Donuts

Eating this in my parked car next to the restaurant as I write this. I was down here checking out the Webster market across the street and got hungry. Noticed this place was open, and I love chicken and waffles, so why not try it? I was greeted by, what I assume to be, the daughter of the establishment owners. She was maybe 11-14 years old. What a well mannered young lady she was when she explained to me the menu and what items she suggested that I should try. I really wanted a fried chicken donut sandwich, but unfortunately they were sold out of donuts for the day! That must say a lot if they sell out fast I had chicken tenders and some sweet potato casserole, SOOOO GOOD!! Everything was seasoned to perfection. Definitely coming here again the next time I’m in town.

Handmade, homemade and absolutely delicious! Friendly service with a smile. Mama's cooking, dad is serving, daughter is smiling while checking out customers and Jenn is just a sweetheart. And just look at these photos! My boys and I are going back (we bought extra to take home so our ticket was higher than a normal lunch)

We were camping near by and visited three days, once for breakfast and twice for fried chicken. The staff are just awesome, super nice! The food amazing. We never got there early enough to get an apple fritter so hopefully we will get back to the area and get up early to pick up a few and the glazed croissants!! I hope that they can move away from Styrofoam containers.

While exploring Webster Florida we found DoughJ's chicken and donuts. Oh my are these ever huge and delicious donuts. In the summer they are open Thursday through Saturday. Last week we tried their Southern fried Chicken. All chicken is fried to order when you place your order. The only make a certain number of donuts each day and when they're gone they're gone. We enjoyed our donuts outside on a patio under a huge oak tree with hanging Spanish moss.

If you have not been to Dough Js yet, you are missing out! Their doughnuts are the best in the area and the staff alone is worth the visit! Great atmosphere & Great Food... count me in!!

Placed an order for 3 dozen donuts for our boys graduation, had a bit of a hiccup when we arrived but the ladies were very understanding and got our order ready ASAP. They were even sweet enough to give my son one of their specialty donuts, he loved it!!! Everyone at our gathering was crazy over the donuts, I know a few families will be making the drive from Ocala to get some this weekend. recommended!!! Thank you ladies!!!!

We just moved to the area and were looking for a good soul food spot—and we found a great one! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and the mouthwatering aroma of home-cooked goodness. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and the three piece wings and every bite was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Everything tasted like it was made with love. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and it all felt authentically homemade. We’re so glad we found this gem, and now that we’re locals, we’ll definitely be going back often. If you’re in the area and craving real soul food, this place is a must!

The donuts are always on point here and the chicken is so good. More important to me, the service is the best. I went in this morning and, while getting my order together, sat and chatted with the owner for a bit about her son, family, other things. It’s just great having good, honest conversations with people even though a business transaction is taking place. We can all use a little more of what it is they’ve got going here at Dough J’s.
